Keeping girls enthusiastic about STEM – Science Sisters 2027

14.10.2026 -

Building on the success of the first STEM camp for girls at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, the Science Sisters programme will return for a second edition in February 2027.

In collaboration with FEM POWER and various faculties at the university, a varied and enriching programme is being developed to inspire young female participants to take an interest in STEM subjects. The focus is on exploring STEM topics, learning about different study programs, and fostering personal development and a sense of community.

Twenty girls aged 16 and over can take part from 1 to 2 February. Lunch will be provided, as will accommodation for participants where required.
